hi, after a long and tedious process of elimination, i have decided that my baby has a dairy intolerance. her symptoms include being a bit spewy afterwards, tummy pain and lots of farting. these are her only symptoms though, so i don't think its a true allergy; more like her GIT is just not mature enough for dairy yet.........does this sound about right???
anyway, this limits breakfast options and as she has started using a spoon herself with her cereal in the mornings, i was hoping to continue giving her cereal. i'm wondering if rice milk is a good option for cereal, puddings, and to substitute dairy in cooking?
she's 10 months old, breast fed and has about a million feeds a day, so it won't be used as a milk feed substitute.
also, when should i consider retrying her with dairy??
